1976 Honda CB500T review from United States of America
"A great mid size motorcycle"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
I have had no problems with this bike since I bought it.
I have put about 650 trouble free miles on it since purchase.
General comments?
I bought this bike on a whim this summer, and I am sure glad that I did. It is a very simple, easy to ride, comfortable bike.
Everything on this motorcycle works as it should. The engine runs flawlessly, the 5 speed transmission changes smoothly, and the handling is above average for a bike this size.
This bike had been stored since 1989 when I purchased it this summer. I changed the oil, replaced the battery, put in new plugs and points and she started right up and idled well. I, also, ran some Sea Foam cleaner through the carbs, although they really didn't need it.
For a 500 CC twin cylinder bike, the CB500T is quiet, smooth, and easy to maintain and ride. I'm keeping this one!
