1994 Kawasaki Ninja 250 review from United States of America
"Fun, quick, fast, reliable, safe beginners bike"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
NONE. Very reliable, every maintenance I have done is all preventive. Oil and filter changes, coolant, brake fluid, etc.
General comments?
Excellent beginners bike. Highly recommended for starters. Light, quick, handles well, fast enough (250 class) and very forgiving.
Freeway legal and very competitive for 250cc class, (What competition?). Actually one of the most advanced 250s in the market in 1994, maybe still, to date. Twin cam, 8 valves, liquid cooled, dual disc brakes, rev happy and yet very economical to maintain and operate.
The engine is a little buzzy on freeway speeds at around 70 mph, but tolerable.
Factory rear tires worn after 7,000 miles; maybe it is just me.
