2004 Moto Guzzi V11 Ballabio review from United States of America
"Great bike that breaks you in"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
Trip meter knob came apart.
General comments?
Good:
The bike has huge amounts of low end torque, and it makes an excellent yet docile commuter bike when you have to deal with stop and go traffic.
The styling is great, and people often stare at it. Feels kinda weird...
Handling is quite good, but you'll need to dial in the suspension first.
Bulletproof engine.
Brakes are extremely good.
Bad:
Dealer network is a joke.
Parts are very expensive, and often take a while to get to you. On the bright side, a few shops (Moto Intl) can get what you need relatively quickly.
Seat is somewhat uncomfortable. It needs a rebuild from Spencer's or Rich Maund.
Oddball riding position is somewhere between standard and sport, and it's too easy to put a lot of weight on your wrists.
