2001 Aprilia SL1000 Falco review from United Kingdom

"The best"

What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?

A rear brake light switch failed, replaced under dealer warranty with no hassle.

General comments?

I was looking at a Ducati 998 and sort of just stumbled onto the Aprilia. As soon as I laid eyes on her, I had to have her, I left a cheque for the asking price there and then!

She handles exceptionly well when you can keep the front wheel on the ground. (I have fitted renthal race gearing and she comes up in 4th on the power alone!) I also fitted an aftermarket double bubble screen and polished alloy cans. I am in love with this bike, she goes awesome and sounds better!

The dash is also straight out of Star Trek and has a 40lap recall memory, top speed recall and average speed recall as well as coolant temp and clock.

Highly recommended.
