1980 Suzuki PE175 review from United Kingdom
"Most fun bike I ever owned"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
Carburetor problems solved by putting an inline fuel filter between the tank and carburetor, to stop dirt blocking jets etc..
Front tyre wearing oval due to lots of wheelies in the road... I think the front bearings were worn.. so the wheel always stopped in the same place!
The speedometer is self destructing due to vibration... ha ha!
General comments?
I have owned numerous road and offroad bikes in my life.. the PE175 was the best fun.. most reliable, value for money..
I wish I had never sold it for a Yamaha IT200...
