1986 Honda XR600RG review from New Zealand
"Awesome machine"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
When I got it in 97, it was using oil. Have done the rings, gaskets etc. 6 months later, the stator coil went, since then I have had no problems with it.
I've moto x it in the novices and kicked all the flash 2 strokes (1999). Not bad considering at that time it was 13 years old. Was running a 44 back sprocket, so I didn't often get out of 3rd on the track. Also kicked its ass on the gravel, in the bush and on the beach.
General comments?
This bike is like a good drug - you get off it shaking, but can't wait to get going again.
