1984 Yamaha DT200 review from Canada
"Very good, especially for beginners"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
Coolant impeller broke off its shaft and caused the engine to seriously overheat. Needed a new piston, cylinder boring, etc.
General comments?
Great little 2-stroke Dual Sport. Lots of fun on road and off.
I would recommend a Wiseco piston and Boysen Reeds, as well as opeining up the airbox and possibly removing the spark arrestor (if that's legal) allowing more airflow.
Agile, but definitely underpowered for carrying a passenger.
Liquid cooled - nice option, but adds a fair amount of weight.
