1999 Honda VF750C Magna review from United States of America

The Magna 750 is a cruiser rocket. My other (and first) bike is a Kawasaki EX500 (GPZ500S) and the Magna is just as fast.

The bike puts out 82HP, has a redline of 9500, and cruises in 5th gear at 75 MPH at 5,000 RPM.

Has great leaning clearance, not much to scrape unless you add highway pegs or crash bars.

Braking is adequate, but the rear drum brake is not a good match.

Tons of chromed parts, and the four exhaust pipes look awesome.

The seat, both passenger and pilot are not very good for long trips. If you have a passenger, a sissy bar is mandatory as this bike does accelerate like a sports bike.

Universal complaint on this bike is the small gas tank, 2.54 gallons before hitting the 0.6 reserve, good for about 100 to 110 miles.

The bike looks unique in comparison to all other cruisers with their V-Twin engines and single or double pipes.

Bike is quiet and the finish is very good.

The original owner only did 4,500 miles in 5 years, I have done 6,200 miles of weekend rides in 5 months, and I still ride my 2003 EX500 to work almost daily.

The Magna is no longer in production (last model was 2003) but it is one hell of a Power Cruiser if you don't want to conform to the traditional cruiser type.
