1979 Puch Maxi review from United Kingdom
"Useless"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
Performance was terrible.
General comments?
I took on a train down to London to use it as a run around. It was a joke, the performance is that poor.
The original motorised bicycle. It slows down on the slightest slopes and was frightening to use around town. It seemed to take forever to get anywhere.
Powered by a two stroke single cylinder (with around 1 hp) engine, it is slow. 30mph is difficult to reach, 20mph is more like its top speed.
Bought for pennies and thrown into a ditch. It was that useless.
