2008 Baja Motorsports DR70 review from United States of America
"Great bike for the money!"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
Per the instructions I received with the bike, I had to double check the bolts and spokes to make sure they were tight. I needed to use thread lock on some of them because they would not stay tight. Easy fix!
The threads on the gas cap make it difficult to put back on. Does not leak, just takes a minute and some patience to get it on without cross threading it.
The air filter is not protected from the elements (water and dirt) I replaced it with a oil breather with a washable filter and a chrome cover that helps protect it.
The dealer that I purchased the bike from was not a motorcycle shop, and the assembly was very poor quality. I had to adjust everything on the bike (brakes, throttle, shift lever, etc.)
General comments?
This is a good bike for someone with a little mechanical ability. Had it been assembled properly from the beginning, I would not have anything bad to say about it.
My 8 year old loves it, and it will be big enough to last him a few years.
