2004 BMW R 1150 GS Adventure review from South Africa
"Great all round motorcycle!"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
Absolutely nothing.
General comments?
I previously had a '98 GS1100 for 36000kms, and I thought that it was the best all round bike I had ever had.
The Adventure offers the same bullet proof reliability, fantastic handling, and good all round performance.
The long range tank is fantastic for long trips, albeit a little heavy round town when full.
Good wind protection, ABS brakes, heated grips, shaft drive, multiple power points etc, all make for a very comfortable and capable motorcycle that devours long distances with ease.
It's big, imposing, and very capable!
