2005 Gilera Nexus 500 review from Greece
"Attractive design, good power, economic on petrol, overvalued, good for transportation"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
Mirrors break easily, and at 80 euro per piece are very expensive.
Ignition wore out at 20000km, which also resulted in 2 battery changes before finding out the real problem.
General comments?
The engine power is satisfactory considering it is a scooter.
However bike is very heavy and hard to maneuver in tight spots or heavy traffic.
Very hard seat, and after a 45 minute drive you will start feeling stiff.
The bikes fairing is very good as it blocks out wind, and the design is very aerodynamic.
Your legs and lower body will never feel cold due to its very good heating system.
Handling is not too good due to the thin front tire, and leaning the bike too much will result in the double stand touching the road.
