What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
I have had no mechanical problems with this bike.
General comments?
The stock seat is not as comfortable is it could be for what is to be the "ultra" cruising machine for Harley Davidson.
I do not like the fuel injection system. I know it's better for emissions and it starts better than the carburetor, but you cannot get the potato-potato sound from the fuel injected models without spending a lot of money.
I have owned other brands of motorcycles that measured up to the Harley in all ways except for the sound when the Harleys were carbureted. But now that sound is out of the picture for Harley Davidsons with fuel injections, which is your only option by the way, it would pay you to shop other brands before making your purchase.
