1995 Hyosung Cruise II review from South Korea
"Versatile, reliable, good handling, small, fun"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
New front brake cylinder, new clutch.
Tranny is going out, slipping gears.
It's been rideable for six months, may get it replaced soon.
Starter has gone out.
Overall reliable bike.
Tranny problem is not that bad, I haven't minded it for the time I've owned it.
General comments?
Very comfortable, versatile riding position.
Handles quite well for a cruiser - I can come quite close to dragging my knees. It is light enough around town it weaves through traffic like a bicycle.
Good acceleration off the line.
Limited top speed - 100km/hr (it is a l25 after all), but it is pretty comfortable at 100. Surprisingly smooth engine, even at top speed.
Works for two up, as long as neither of you are too heavy!
Struggles in mountains, you really have to work the gearbox, but it will make it.
Around 30km/liter.
Wonderful bike. Very well balanced. My favorite bike I've ever owned (after Honda CB750, CB400, VF700, VF500). Not fast, but solid, fun, good handling, and confidence inspiring. Looks good too. Reliable.
I am friends with the bike shop owner, so the minor issues it has had haven't bugged me too much :)
Don't know what year it is, paid $200 with no title or anything. Paid the cash, got a key and a dirty motorcycle with no date on it :P.
