2003 Suzuki VS800 review from United Kingdom
"Fantastic value for money"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
Brakes went spongy after the first 14000 miles. This seems to be a common fault across the Intruder range.
After 18000 miles, the seat started to break up and the fenders rusted up, but then I'm in Scotland where the road salt is bad every year, so if you ride it every day of the year, sun or snow, you've got to expect rust.
General comments?
Excellent motorcycle for the vertically challenged person (short). It's well weighted and can even ride well in the snow!
The tank is a bit small, so look for a petrol station around 115 miles, but then your rear end is looking for a rest by then also.
Loads of torque for the best of times and the worst.
A genuine good buy.
