2006 Kawasaki Mean Streak review from United States of America
"It's an awesome motorcycle!"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
I have not noticed any faults with this motorcycle.
I did change the stock seat for a Corbin seat. It's much more comfortable. Also put on some 2 inch risers to pull the bars back a bit.
General comments?
I have been riding for over 25 years on numerous different motorcycles. My last bike was a 2006 Honda 750 Aero. No power, but a nice around town cruiser.
The Mean Streak is a powerful machine that just wants to be rode hard and put up wet. It handles like a sport bike at any time or range that you need its handling.
The brakes are great with the dual calipers on the front. It will seriously stop when needed.
It is a great long distance machine since adding the seat, backrests, highway bars, cruise control and saddle bags.
I would not hesitate to purchase this bike again. I have not experienced any problems with this bike as of today. Kawasaki makes a great product.
The gas mileage is 38-42 split riding and 50-54 on the highway.
If you want a great machine, consider the Mean Streak.
