2000 BMW R850R review from Australia
"Excellent staging post between a learner bike and a beast bike"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
No mechanical failures.
Needed a new battery.
Lots of new tires and brake pads.
General comments?
Like driving a train.
Stable over bumps and predictable round corners.
Great brakes.
Comfy riding position.
A heavy bike to put on a center stand.
Good fuel economy, even when thrashed around the city.
Heavy crosswinds nearly blew me into the ditch a few times.
High quality workmanship throughout.
