2005 Yamaha FJR1300 review from United States of America
"The best bike I have owned; it is smooth, fast, stylish, and reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
No Problems at all.
General comments?
I had to personalize the FJR to my liking. I added a Corbin modular seat, vista cruise, Yamaha taller windshield, 2 brothers exhaust, K and N filter, Michelen Pilot Roads, heli bars. I also did a heat reduction modification to the areas behind the fairing. Before, it was too hot, now it is nice and cool.
Now the ergonomics are perfect for me. I am 5'10" 210 lbs.
Above 4500 rpm, there is a slight buzz in the seat and bars.
In all, the FJR is so much better than my 1993 Kawasaki Concours. This is by far the best motorcycle I have owned. I have owned 7 other bikes.
