1994 Yamaha XTZ660 review from Norway
"A very fun machine"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
Not much has gone wrong with it, it just runs and runs. But due to lack of adjustment of the valves it lost a lot of power, took it in for a service and then it was OK again.
I have had some ordinary things that had to be changed. The chain and sprockets have been changed once, and the same with the battery.
General comments?
The engine is very strong and revs up much better than the XT600, it really wants to pull up to the red line. It also has a very nice sound, even with the original exhaust.
The bike is a bit soft, so the comfort is good, but it isn't the best performer if you want sharp handling. The upright driving position is comfortable and gives you a nice view over anything except SUVs.
