1990 Suzuki GSX750F review from United States of America
"A great sport touring mount"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
The seat faded and cracked during the first year I owned it, even though I kept it in a garage most of the time when not riding. I did commute on the bike a couple days a week, and it sat outside during the day.
I only owned the bike two years before getting transferred to Korea, but I never had any mechanical problems during the 12,000 miles I put on it.
General comments?
I thought this was the best looking sport bike you could buy in 1990. Very classy looking in black and silver. I was surprised at how comfortable it was. I spent many hours in the saddle exploring the South Texas Hill Country. This bike wasn't cutting edge, but it was very capable. A good rider on this bike could outrun a squid on just about anything else.
The only problem I had was my hands going numb from the weight on them. It didn't happen until about two or three hours into the ride, long after you'd be screaming in pain from some of the more extreme crotch rockets.
I'm 6 foot, my wife is 5' 10", and the bike is adequate for two up rides.
