2001 Kawasaki ZZR250 review from Spain
"Perfect Starter Bike"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
Nothing went wrong with this bike at all... only slight carb icing on very cold mornings and it disliked cheaper brands of gasoline.
General comments?
I purchased this motorcycle as my first bike. As I was limited to 25 KW for my first 2 years of having a bike license in Spain, it was perfect for learning on.
I could keep up with larger engined sports bikes through the curves and filter through traffic easily as it was quite narrow.
One can still purchase a ZZR 250 brand new in Spain for 5000 Euros including tax and registration, which is a bargain. As it goes, I paid 3000 Euros for mine.. I used it for a year and then sold it on for 3500 Euros!!
Highly recommended!
