1981 Yamaha DT100H review from United States of America
"It is an overall good bike"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
When I got the bike, someone had beaten it up very badly.
I had get a new front brake handle from a junk yard - $23.
Cleaned the carburetor.
Got a new air filter - $15.
Cleaned the bike of all the dirt and oil - about three cans of Engine Bright, $6.
Got the front forks re-done $80.
Re-adjusted the oil injector.
Re-adjusted the drive chain.
Re-adjusted the carburetor.
Bent all of the turn signals back..
Put all new hoses on the carburetor.
Re-adjusted the head light.
General comments?
This motorcycle is fast for its size (100cc), and has pretty good pick up.
Top speed is about 52mph.
The handling is not the best on road, but is pretty good off road.
