2001 Yamaha FZ1 review from Canada
"A very capable all rounder"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
I have had nothing go wrong with this motorcycle, even after riding "briskly" for the duration of ownership.
General comments?
Good upright riding position, provides ease on your lower back and wrists for longer distances. Lack of wind protection might become tiresome after a some time in the saddle, but other windscreens are available to help remedy this.
Lower end torque is a little weak for two up riding, but nothing that can't be dealt with.
