2004 Triumph Daytona review from United States of America
"Outstanding motorcycle!"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
Speedometer is intermittent, especially in cold weather.
Had to replace battery after only 1 year of use.
General comments?
I have owned a Yamaha and Honda sport bike (both of course in-line 4s), and the incredible torque and roll on power of this triple in all ranges of the powerband is truly inspiring. Of course it doesn't handle like a Ducati 999s, but as an all around motorcycle for commuting and doing some weekend knee scraping, this is a wonderful bike!
I have over 200 track laps on my bike, and although it's not going to win any races, the braking power was evident in all types of corners. Powering out of the corners was impressive, but where it lacks is the ability to get the power out of the high end revs.
This bike will make all types of riders happy, with its snappy torque and wonderful sound.
Love the bike!
