2001 Yamaha TT-R225 review from United States of America
"A inexpensive, fun, dependable trail rider"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
Front fork leaks.
Gas tank leaks.
General comments?
I am a mountain trail rider and it is a great bike for that. Not a fast or racing bike. Not a jumper.
Will wheelie only in 2nd gear - not enough power in the others. Very comfortable over the bumps. Great hill climber.
It's a great beginner bike, however if you are an expert rider you will want more power. I want to move up to a WR450. I continue to ride this bike because I am a technical rider and it is good for that. Very dependable. Cold natured.
The electric start is good.
