2011 BMW G 650 GS

Summary:

Love it, the best choice

Faults:

Lights, switches, and heated grips failed.

I occasionally had ignition issues, although they were minor and easy to fix.

I had to completely replace the clutch around 20,000 km.

Just a few kilometers after buying it, the water pump failed, which I had to replace with a new one (obviously not very cheap, being a BMW).

General Comments:

In terms of comfort, it's the best motorcycle I've ever ridden. I value it even more considering that's not a motorcycle that's known for that. It rides infinitely better than any Italian motorcycle (for example, my previous Aprilia), although it doesn't have, in my opinion, the reliability of a Japanese one.

It's a bike that requires a lot of maintenance, like all motorcycles of its brand. In my case, it doesn't bother me, being a motorcycle enthusiast, but for people who are just looking for a good, simple, reliable, and easy-to-fix bike, this type of motorcycle isn't the best choice.

Besides comfort, the other most important feature is its low fuel consumption. At just over 100 km/h, it only consumes about 3.5 liters, an enviable performance.

The quality of their products is brilliant, with no rust issues or plastic noises when driving. It's an expensive bike, but its price matches its quality.

Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? Yes
