Summary:

Great city bike

Faults:

Replaced battery, and had a starter relay unit fixed. Also had the light switch fixed.

General Comments:

I got this bike for an absolute steal at 6000ZAR.

It is my first bike and I love it. It is in very good condition for its age.

It's a great city bike, not very much suited to open road use as it's naked.

I only get 120-130km/h flat out, chin against the tank.

It seems that around 4500rpm it isn't getting enough fuel. Had the carburetors cleaned/adjusted, but still not right, any comments on this problem?

Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? Don't Know

Had the carbs rebuilt by BMW motorrad dealer, the diaphragms were cracked. It goes like the clappers now!

Just one comment on top speed. I had a 1984 R65 years and years ago, and it did do 160 km/hr indicated, not sure whether there was some speedometer error there or not.
