2007 Baja Motorsports DR90

Fair value for what you pay

Lost compression the other day; adjusted the idle screw and that took care of it. Starts every time.

General Comments:

Fun for a small adult or teen.

2008 Baja Motorsports DR90

It runs and can be fixed, but could be a lot better

I had gotten a flat after a month of use, which was from a valve stem breaking.

The rear part of the frame (behind the seat) fell off.

The muffler fell off.

The bolts that hold the foot pegs fell off.

The bolts that hold the engine guard on fell off.

The gas tank leaks at the gas cap.

The bolt that holds the front right fork on fell off.

The gear shifter fell off a bunch of times.

General Comments:

Has poor acceleration.

Has poor power.

When using front brakes the throttle gets hit and it revs up.

Has poor tread.

It gets 55 miles per tank, and has a metal tank.

This bike sucks, but it costs as much as some dealers setup fees $600. This bike is only good for flat ground; when you go up most hills it could only go 12-17 mph, compared to about 25-30.

The gas tank leaks from the cap.

I adjusted the speedometer (modified bicycle one to fit, measured the actual tire height, not just the rim size) and topped it out at about 45 mph.
