2001 Honda CR250

Summary:

Honda never made a better bike, when you consider long term maintenance, costs, fun and light weight

Faults:

Fork seals blew, but still, 6 years of riding on one set?

Brake pads wore out, but they were still the OEM ones.

General Comments:

Incredibly fast, best year of the Honda CR250.

The power valve flap requires that you remove the head to clean.

Top notch quality and reliability.

All fasteners are perfect, and made of high-grade steel.

The 2001 CR250 is one of the best years made for the CR250. The 2000 model had some jetting issues that needed resolved. Those could be fixed with a JD Jetting Jet Kit
