2006 Honda VTX1300C

Faults:

The stock seat is only good for 1/2 hour.

General Comments:

I love this bike. It looks and rides great. I'm 6'2 360 lbs. It pulls me around like nothing. It has no problem hauling the wife and I around town or jetting down the highway. The only thing I need to do is get an after market seat and floorboards.

Sure there are more powerful bikes out there, but how much more power than I need do I need? Sounds funny, but it is a good question.

This bike feels good on the highway. 80mph is nothing to hold riding this baby, and she does not float all over the road when a truck passes you like some smaller bikes.

Excellent all around bike.

Good engine, comfortable sitting position and very good fit and finish.

It is a cheap bike for what it is. If you like this type of ride and look, you won't be disappointed.

I have never had a problem with my X.

Plenty of power and handles like a dream. The seat isn't the greatest - but there are plenty of alternatives out there. I would recommend to anyone.

I love this bike. It has the torque of a diesel.

The seat could be better, not good for over 1/2 hour ride.

Handling is very good for a bike of this size and weight.

2006 Honda VTX1300C

Summary:

This is the best bike you can buy for the money... period!

Faults:

The only down side to the 2006 Honda VTX 1300C is the stock seat. It's uncomfortable for the longer rides, however around town for a short time it is just fine.

General Comments:

The 2006 Honda VTX1300C is a great bike. This is my first "big" bike. I wasn't sure that a 1300cc was a bike that was too powerful for a novice rider.

The roll on power is impressive to say the least. It definitely has enough "zip" to get out of trouble or around another vehicle in a hurry.

The braking is great. Sufficient for the size of the bike.

The handling of the bike is another great part of this motorcycle. It handles well at highway speeds as well as extremely slow speeds. It is balanced enough, but could use a lighter stock exhaust to help with the overall balance of the bike.

The look of the bike gives the lasting impression of a custom cruiser. Drag bars and more of the street racer look can't be beat in my opinion. Simply a beautiful bike with everything you want, and enough power to fill the need for speed.

I have a problem and I'm looking for answers. Just replaced the start kill switch with a brand new one. I can start it just fine, but my headlights just went out today. What is the problem - fuses seem to be good etc..?
