Summary:
Honda are the best bikes ever made!
Faults:
Nothing has gone wrong with this bike, it looks and runs perfect.
General Comments:
I have rode Honda's since 1985. My first Honda was a 1973 Honda 754. The only problem I had with it, was I had to change the spark plugs every year after winter. And it would blow a fuse if I rode it longer than 800 miles a day. I have had many bikes through the years, but the old 1973 was the best I ever had; that's why this year I bought a 2005 Honda VTX1300R. I have had 0% problems with this bike. I plan on going on long road trips with it like I did with my old bike. It runs very powerful compared to my old 754, but 1300cc is much bigger than a 754.
I have had no problems with the seat, but I don't know if it's the first seat that was on it in 2005.
It's a rough bike to turn, but you have to expect that from a heavier bike. I just bought my brother a 1986 Honda Shadow. Let him learn and buy his own bike when he wants a newer bike. Ha ha.
Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? Yes
