1983 Suzuki GR650 Tempter
Looks like a Triumph. Drives like on/off
Carbs plugged up from sitting 20 years.
Exhaust valves too tight.
At 5500 I don't think the valves were ever adjusted/set to factory spec.
Seat is a bit rough, but usable.
Battery weak; loses charge. Easily replaced with a newer type sealed battery. Now much better; starts very good. New style battery is a glass mat style.
This bike is very light and has very compliant suspension on bumps. Rear suspension is very smooth. I ride this bike on dirt trails.
Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? Yes
