2006 Suzuki GSX-R600

Summary:

I love this bike!

Faults:

Brakes are starting to squeak at 900 miles.

General Comments:

This is the first street bike I have owned and I am elated with it's performance! I feel very comfortable with every inch I try to push it further. I have let more experienced riders that own Gixxers take it for a ride and they wanted to trade!! I get compliments on it everywhere I go. It was worth every penny.

2006 Suzuki GSX-R600

Summary:

Best 600 for 2006, except for the FI light issue that Suzuki does not appear to have resolved

Faults:

FI light keeps coming on (more than a dozen times to date), even though the dealer has inspected the problem.

General Comments:

Nice looking bike, fantastic designs (exhaust, integrated turning signals in the mirrors), removable back seat.

Excellent power curve as well as torque curve.

Excellent handling and brakes.

Most comfortable 600 I have ever ridden, and I have ridden a lot. Suspension a little on the soft side, but better for street use.

Inspires more confidence than R6 or RR.

Makes you proud to own one, can't think of anything I do not like... but the check engine light that seems to affect only the 600's

Expect a recall from Suzuki on that.

2000 Suzuki GSX-R600

Summary:

The best machine on two wheels, or sometimes on one

Faults:

My brakes pads go about every 2000 miles.

My tires wear down every 6000 miles.

With in the first couple miles I had to replace the front and rear blinkers.

General Comments:

This is my second motorcycle, I have rode a lot of different types and models of bikes, and by far the GSXR is the best. The way it feels and handles at slow speeds, and even not so slow speeds such as 155mph. The bike doesn't feel too small or too heavy. This machine can do all the tricks with ease.

Well stand ups with this bike are very easy. I have no problem pulling the bike up, and speed is always there. This bike all the way around A+.
