2000 Suzuki GZ250

Faults:

Cylinder head bolts were found loose after the cam chain had to be replaced. At that time I did a complete top end too, including cylinder & complete valve head.

Had another problem with the ignition switch. The bike would start intermittently. The problem was the switch contacts were dirty. Never have to buy a switch again. I found a way to take it apart, so now it's a simple fix forever. You may ask how to do it. I had an igniter go bad in 2007, so now I keep an extra new one under my seat. NOTE ALL parts I use are Suzuki factory OE.

General Comments:

If you know the limitations of the bike, it is very reliable. I get between 75 and 95+ MPG.

Oil & filter change every 200 miles. Any questions, feel free to ASK.

Air filter every 2000, fork oil every 1000, brake fluid every 2000.

Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? Yes
