1990 BMW K 75 C review from United States of America

"The perfect bike for people that like to ride a bike, not work on it"

What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?

The bike needed a new drive line and master brake cylinder when purchased.

It has a small oil leak from the weep hole at the bottom of the engine, from the oil/coolant pump.

These are about the only things that go wrong with this model.

Like anything, if it's been sitting the seals and gaskets can dry out.

General comments?

The K75, (the flying brick!), has been called the longest running, most dependable motorcycle ever made by anyone, including BMW. Regular maintenance will keep them running forever.

There's a guy on the BMW owners of America website that put 375,000 miles on a K75! And it was killed in action in an accident!.

These bikes run anywhere from $2500 to $5000, used. I think they're the best buy for a used bike. I use it for commuting with the panniers on, and take 'em off on the weekend for the twisties!
