General comments?
This bike does it all. After just over 104,000 miles, I still enjoy this bike as much as the day I bought it new.
It is comfortable for 900 mile days, which I have done quite a few of, all for pleasure. It is tall, and the seat height may be a bit high for some.
The handling and performance are excellent for a bike of this type. I always get over 50 mpg.
The BMW top box and panniers have been excellent, easy to use with a good capacity (optional extra but worth the money). However the leaked for the first time on a recent trip in torrential rain for just over 500 miles.
