2017 Harley-Davidson FLHXXX Street Glide Trike from United States of America

Summary:

My last one that I plan on buying

Faults:

None - love this trike.

General Comments:

My wife and I ride it in the mountains, up to Sturgis, and around town.

We changed the seat to the heated one, and the ride is much softer.

Added the saddle bags that go one the front of the fenders; nice small boxes that come in very handy.

Added the power to the rear box. Wish they would have added it as the package.

As far as what is wrong with the bike; the switch to reset the back up is way too far back when the saddle bags are added. And the power port on the fairing is placed in a position that is impractical to use.

Other than that, it is great, and the best HD that I ever owned and drove.

2013 Harley-Davidson FLHXXX Street Glide Trike from United States of America

Summary:

Love it

Faults:

Oil gauge drops to zero and it starts to chug at slow speed/idle. Had it towed to the dealer and they said it was "normal"??? Still doing it...very bad in hot weather... does it in 70 degree weather also.

Horn cover rattles really bad at highway speed (65mph).

2010 Harley-Davidson FLHXXX Street Glide Trike from United States of America

Summary:

OK; room for improvement

Faults:

The brakes squeak all the time.

The ride is rough.

It needs more power.

It needs a way so the heat from the motor does not get so hot for the passenger's legs.

It also needs a way to make more room for the passenger to stretch out their legs when they are long legged.

2010 Harley-Davidson FLHXXX Street Glide Trike from United States of America

Summary:

I would buy again

Faults:

Transmission had to get into first gear from slow rolling or stop lights.

General Comments:

Overall my FLHXXX trike is well built, and the handling is great on straight line driving, and on corners it takes some effort from your arms. On bumps it's good, except you feel the bigger ones.

The heat from the 103cc engine; on hot days you feel the heat pretty bad, I removed the catalyst, by installing a new header bypass pipe.

Overall I rate the bike as a #8.

My husband and I purchased the 2017 Harley Davidson Trike and we love it. We enjoy riding together and we feel safe on a three wheeler.
