2006 Harley-Davidson FLTRI Road Glide review from United States of America
"My third HD is the best HD"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
Radio failed after dealer washed the dash with high pressure hose. No fault of the radio, just a reflection on the dealer. They replaced the unit the next day.
General comments?
The '06 Road Glide was the base for my personal bike. Many touches were stock, and I could focus on fitting it to my riding style and personal view of what a RG could be.
With all the options for seats, mufflers, windshields, lights, handle bars and tires, there is no need to ride an uncomfortable or unsafe machine. Never sacrifice style for safety.
The upgrade to a six speed transmission with a true overdrive, the stage one kit and aftermarket mufflers transformed the RG into an asphalt eating bike.
The proof came in a coast to coast run in five days. Kennedy Space Center to the Golden Gate bridge.
