The seat is not designed for the long haul.

Don't leave foot under shifter when cornering, as you will drag your toes!

Saddle bags are too small, will barely hold a man's large leather jacket.

Gas mileage is much lower than factory specs! Averages about 27 on the highway, and lower in city driving.

Aluminum wheels pain to polish. Mothers makes them look chrome, but takes lots of work.

Fun bike. Too low to really corner well.

The seat is not good for long rides, but the two sets of foot pegs are necessary if doing over 500 miles a day. They let you shift weight and pressure points during a long ride.

I put on CFR pipes, Power Commander, high flow filter, saddle bags, LED signal lights and tail lights with Kuryakn strobe controller in brake lights with LED brake light. Great brakes!

Still have my FLHTC, makes a good team. Overall, it's a great bike; very fast, handles well and is very predictable.

Pipes and other modifications improved performance, especially acceleration, and love the sound. The short pipe improves its looks; making the bike look lower and longer. Great engine!

A drunk driver is the only problem I've had so far!

It cruises nicely, it's a great "light to light" bike, and it handles as well as any muscle cruiser out there.

Very respectable in all categories - including comfort!

In 4700 miles, nothing has gone wrong with the bike. I'm amazed because it's a Harley. Of course, primarily Porsche designed the motor, so I shouldn't be surprised!

Chrome looks good, the paint could be better, but overall I'm impressed!

I'm actually more impressed than when I bought my 2006 Harley Night Rod (VRSCD). The engine is super smooth (120 HP), the Brembo brakes are frankly awesome, the ride is pretty smooth for a cruiser, and the stability is great. I rode one day for over 30 miles without my hands on the bars, with the throttle locked in position.

The seat is actually pretty comfortable, I've had numerous 5-6 hour days in the saddle. The advantage of the Night Rod is that you have pegs underneath you where the controls are, and highway pegs from the factory. I'm not tall (5' 6"), and the pegs are going to be too tight for someone much taller than me, but at least you can stretch your legs out.

Overall, the bike is really an exceptional bike. This is my 8th motorcycle since 1969, so I'm not a rookie!
