1979 Honda CB900F review from United Kingdom
"Underrated bruiser"
What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?
Warped rear disc.
Corroded front forks.
Rattly clutch basket.
Rattly main drive chain (not camchain).
General comments?
A good, fast, relaible bike, was a revelation as they are normally slagged off for being unreliable.
Handled well with the aftermarket Konis on the rear.
As fast (albeit not in the twisties) as my mates then new CBR600 - a result as it only cost me £475.00.
Was good on tyres and the previous owner had plastic coated the frame & wheels, so easy to look after.
