1998 Honda CBR600F3 from Canada

Summary:

This bike is the most fun vehicle I have ever owned!

Faults:

The headlight interrupt wire came off, and the headlight stopped working; coincidentally at the same time as the front signal bulbs burnt out.

General Comments:

This bike is quick and handles better than I can do it justice. It is the Smokin Joe Duhamel limited model, and she looks awesome!!

I get complements everywhere I stop, I have spent a few G's on her since I purchased her, and she is one of the best looking bikes on the Island.

Summary:

An excellent bike

Faults:

The only major problem was the regulator at around 20000 kms.

General Comments:

It's a great all round bike. Good for punting around suburbia, comes into its on in the twisties.

Great acceleration if you keep the tach bubbling above 4000 RPM.

1998 Honda CBR600F3 from United States of America

Summary:

Perfect bike

Faults:

The rear wheel bearings went out at around 38,000 miles, due to brake dust getting in and drying them out.

The steering bearings have also been replaced twice, due to being worn.

The back side fairings have started to break, little by little.

General Comments:

This bike is all-around perfect. It handles awesomely in the curves, has great acceleration, and flat out fun. You can ride it for long distances, and it doesn't break down.

Top Actual Speed is 145, 150 downhill in 5th gear.

1998 Honda CBR600F3 from United States of America

Summary:

Still running strong and great after its 7th birthday

Faults:

No faults at all, still runs great.

General Comments:

The 1998 Honda CBR F3 600cc is one of the greatest bikes of that year. Even after the 7th birthday of the bike it runs great. The bike is solid and runs very strong. I usually keeps up with all the late models of the same power. I will most likely will alway buy Honda manufactured motorcycles.

All it actually needs after being stock is an after market exhaust (in my case a Carbon Fiber Two Brother racing exhaust) and a windscreen, if possible a double bubble type. Your bike will look and sound good at the same time.

In July 2005 I purchased a used 98 F3 for my son. I was worried buying it, thinking there might be something wrong with it. He rode it long and hard with no problems. It's a great bike, smooth and easy to ride. I had 2 different Honda mechanics tell me the F3 was the best model Honda made, telling me this bike is better than the newer models.
