2007 Honda CGL125 from South Africa

Summary:

Super cheap, reliable Honda quality

Faults:

Battery stopped working @19000, luckily the CGL125 is equipped with a kick starter and runs fine without a battery present.

Chain and sprocket finally gave in after 21000kms.

General Comments:

The CGL125 is by far the most economical bike on earth; 55km/litre!

Zips through traffic like a hot knife through butter, but struggles to keep up with traffic on highways.

Vibrating and a thin cushioned seat makes for a rugged ride, but all in all it's quite comfortable when compared to other bikes in its class.

Handles like a bicycle, no surprises, yet fun to ride.

Rocker style rotary gearbox takes a bit of getting used to, but is incredibly strong and simple.
