2006 Honda VT750DC Spirit from United States of America

Summary:

Dependable

Faults:

Runs a little on the hot side in stop and go traffic in Florida.

Speedometer cable connected to front fork worked itself off.

Back fires on cold starts, even before slip on application.

General Comments:

My first cruiser (coming from dirt) and have had a blast on this bike.

For a 750 this bike can hang pretty good with many other big bikes.

Acceleration is strong, but always seems to have you grabbing for one more gear in the long run.

Slip on's made a world of difference on this bike, increasing its acceleration tremendously and making it howl like an entirely different metric beast.

Long rides can get you hurting pretty bad with the stock seat and riser/bar set up, so a Mustang seat and flipping the risers helped out a lot.

Total weight on this bike is easily over exceeded, and can make windy days a total hell.

Put a fairing on this bike and you'll be totally satisfied.

Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? Yes
