1978 Kawasaki KZ1000A2 from Taiwan

Summary:

The Kawasaki KZ1000 A2 is truly a wonderful and great bike

Faults:

1.The bike is a bit heavy, but is tuned at only 83 PS (max. power) / 8.1 KgM (max torque) by the manufacturer, and therefore if you want the instant power from it at lower speed, you'll be somewhat disappointed.

2.The braking system is not strong enough, so you'd better pray not to run into any situations where sudden, urgent braking is necessary.

General Comments:

It's a streamline-shaped, elegant-looking and head-turning super bike.

It runs extremely fast and smoothly, by the 1970/'80 standards, of course.

It's very reliable and stable wherever you go.

Its 4-into-4 exhaust pipes make a deep, non-disturbing, sublime yet beautiful sound to the ears.

With huge volumes of used parts and accessories available on the US eBay auctions, it's economical to maintain, which is especially advantageous at this economically depressed time to keep a vintage bike.
