2005 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 VN Classic from United States of America

Summary:

A big bike you can ride forever

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

I have ridden and owned many motorcycles; my most recent big bike was a Valkyrie. I really liked the Valkyrie, but a change in marital status forced a sale, along with my GL1800 Wing.

After I got settled, I bought a 1250 Bandit to ride around on. I recently started riding with a group of cruisers and needed a comparable bike to ride with them. I needed a great low maintenance bike, that I could leave outside the apartment. I knew I wanted fuel injection, shaft drive and a large displacement. The Kawasaki VN1600 fit so nicely. The bike is big and can lumber down the road with ease. It has good throttle response that gets me up to speed fast when needed. It's heavy but manageable, a great ride for the long haul. The bike has KN aftermarket pipes and is loud, but has a smoothing sound. I wouldn't go any bigger or smaller in a Vulcan, 1600 is the right size.

Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? Yes
