A very good bike
Accelerator button on cruise control failed.
Bike has a rattle mid ways under the seat when new, and still has - it has increased.
Rides and handles like a big cruiser should.

Cracked cylinder head around 2000 miles. Manufacture fault; fully repaired at no cost; no problems since.
Best ride for the bucks in this size motorcycle.
Nearly maintenance free.
Very comfortable for short and long rides.
A little warm on hot summer days when stopped. Kawasaki offers an after market cooling fan system for the 2011/12 Voyagers, but it is too expensive to install - $400 for parts, $400 for labor. I will put up with the heat for that cost.
A little underpowered compared to other bikes of its size, so like many Voyager riders, I added K&N high flow air cleaner, Vance & Hines Slip-on exhaust pipes, and Cobra PowerPro electronic fuel management system. This boosted power, torque, and fuel mileage.
Original Bridgestone tires provided very poor mileage; upgraded Bridgestone tires are not much better; riding on Michelin Commanders now and what a big difference. Go Michelin!
ABS brakes are the best! Saved me a number of times.

Outstanding
Paint chips easily.
Trunk actuator inoperable in under one year.
Fuel gauge went bad at about 10 months.
This motorcycle was ridden for 1020 miles non-stop with no issues.
Six gear overdrive tremendously increases fuel consumption.

Can't be beat!
Screws on trunk came loose and were lost.
Rattle on acceleration.
Noisy shifting.
Lights on shifting are slow to adapt to the actual shift at times.
Very hot on over 90 degree days.
No manufacturer trunk rack available.
Handles superb! Best big bike on the market.
Awesome two person touring bike.
Very good ride.
Beautiful styling; looks great with some additional chrome!
Most bang for the buck.

Great Ride - Great Price
Only issue so far related to the iPod connector.. music kept cutting in and out. Dealer replaced with a new adapter, and now works fine.
Great ride, very comfortable on the highway, able to hit cruise control and coast along. For its size, it handles with ease and accelerates with power.
Lots of room for luggage and accessories.
With the foot vent openings, your legs are kept cool as you cruise along.
However in stop and go traffic, the engine permeates heat, making the ride a little uncomfortable.

Nothing was wrong with it; great bike.
I sold it to a friend.
Great bike; radio faded in and out, so recommend either the XM Radio operation or purchase the iPod adapter and use an iPod.
Great motorcycle to ride with either 1 or 2 persons!

Just curious as to why the 6th gear overdrive would "increase" fuel consumption.
Unless you meant increases MPG? I have heard that a 6th gear OD is a conundrum because the RPM required to keep the bike in the "happy" range will put you at the speed where your bike is not aerodynamically efficient to get good gas mileage. Just wondering...
