Summary:

Simply put, I love it with all my soul

Faults:

Jerking and sudden power outages.

Oil leak, which usually occurs through the cylinder head gasket. It's best to replace it with the original part and avoid using silicone sealant.

Wear on the timing chain.

Steering bearings or cradles tend to wear out or pit over time, affecting stability when turning.

General Comments:

For bike enthusiasts, the Gixxer series is a delight: models whose lines, style, and riding position emulate in great detail the appearance of the large motorcycles we see on the racing circuits, but with the functionality of an urban motorcycle for daily commutes.

Despite its engine size, a Gixxer 150 will make you feel like a renowned racer every morning on your way to work. Its appearance is undeniably competitive and racing-inspired, very similar to a track bike but smaller and without the lean angle of a circuit bike.

Beyond its sporty look, it's a versatile machine that performs very well in city traffic and on the open road. Although the seat has room for a passenger, due to the riding position (the rider is leaning forward, while the passenger is at a right angle), I think it's best suited for daily city use as a single-person bike, thus ensuring greater control and comfort on curves.

The engine is a 155cc, air-cooled, four-stroke, SOHC single-cylinder. It's an efficient engine that delivers 14.8 HP at 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 11.8 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Both figures are impressive for a machine of this displacement.

The range is brilliant. Boasts a formidable fuel economy of 47 kilometers per liter, and its 12-liter tank provides a range of 560 kilometers.

Front suspension is a conventional telescopic fork, while the rear features a central monoshock with a coil spring, the same type used on larger sport bikes. Disc brakes on both wheels provide greater control and safety.

Just seeing it makes you fall in love, but when you know how it performs you'll feel it's a motorcycle you'll never want to sell in your entire life.
