2007 Suzuki GSX-R1000 from United States of America - Comments

"Overrated piece of junk"

What things have gone wrong with the motorcycle?

Total mistake, I traded my ZX10 for this crap; it's been nothing but problems, electrical failure starting from the integrated fuel control at 2000 miles.

Followed by the engine oil light at 2800.

Headlight light bulb replacement at 1300 miles, and then again at 1800 miles.

I don't recommend this bike to anyone; you're better off buying a Vespa. I think this bike has been way.. overrated and commercialized by Suzuki worldwide. I'm glad summer is over because I'll be going back to the new ZX10R. Those of you with the Gixer get rid of it, better off crashing it during a stunt before you start getting those problems.

General comments?

I would say a lemon was bought, but the marks tell a different story. The handling, roll on, and especially the ACCELERATION marks (5/10?!?!) are way off. Even not broken in this bike will impress ANY rider, period.

The original poster A) does not own this bike, or B) is a GREEN pr guy.

Get rid of it or crash it by stunting? Gimme a break!

Yes, you had to have bought a lemon! I have no problem keeping up with a Kawasaki Ninja ZX14!!!

I own a 2007 GSXR 1000. It has been at the dealer for 7 weeks. They still haven't fixed the bike; it spits and splutters from 1200rpm to 5000rpm, then lights up. The bike has 4800 miles on it and was never laid down. Is there someone out there with a fix to my problem (I like the bike when it runs). Thanks.

Please help.

Own 2007 GSXR1000 with 3 way engine mapping. One word; AWESOME acceleration and ride. Hint: C mode gets you 49mpg on the highway. Nice option when you want to conserve fuel.

Thanks SUZUKI, will buy your products again. You know motorcycles.

Indeed there looks like something's fishy with this review...

Suzukis unreliable...

The GSXR 1000 a piece of crap...

Yeah, we believe you.
