2006 Suzuki Hayabusa from Australia

Summary:

The epitome of bike and rider synergy

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

I'm now 58 years old.

Since obtaining a licence in NZ at the tender age of 16, there have been a lot of underpowered and flawed motorcycles on the journey to experiencing a truly awesome vehicle.

I had a 2004 'Busa' before getting a 'nudge' from another road user.

The 2006 model, whilst still Gen' 1, delivers the power and handling that has endeared it to those of us who are brave or foolish enough to red line it until you run out of nerve or usable road. Whatever comes first.

True, its specs are mediocre compared to the rocket ships that are now rolling off the show room floors, but for those of us who can remember the old lumps of the 70s-90s, it is an intoxicating ride aboard this truly iconic machine, that makes you shout out inside your helmet... just for the hell of it... Buuuuusssssaaa.

2014 Suzuki Hayabusa from New Zealand

Summary:

Fanastic bike. Value for money and iconic

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

It is the Limited Edition Model in Daytona with ABS Brembo brakes, built for the American market, with only 4 coming into NZ.

I am the second owner and purchased it off Trademe. Had it freighted to our city, and after receiving it, was amazed at the condition; a real credit to the previous owner.
