1998 Triumph Sprint 900 from Australia

Faults:

Clutch pushrod seal leaked at about 16000km.

Replaced electronic sender unit at about 90000km.

Alternator stud bolt has been replaced about 3 times.

General Comments:

This is a very well built motorcycle; it's over engineered and built to last; they were Triumph's come back after all.

The Sprint handles well. It's no sports bike, but loaded up with panniers, it's rock solid at high speed.

I have a Corbin seat fitted; very comfortable, and three into one exhaust system for a bit of extra power; sounds great too.

I have ridden the latest Sprint GT; it's a nice bike that does everything great, but it has no character, it's boring; you could be riding a Honda Blackbird for example.

Would you buy another motorcycle from this manufacturer? Yes
